Dr. Dawn Goddard-Eckrich is the Associate Director of the Social Intervention Group (SIG) and an Associate Research Scientist with over 20 years of experience in implementation science and behavioral intervention research. She has led multiple NIH- and city-funded studies, including WINGS, E-WORTH, and the HEALing Communities Study, focusing on translating evidence-based interventions into real-world settings for justice-involved and marginalized populations. Her expertise includes community-engaged research, mixed methods, stakeholder engagement, and implementation fidelity. She currently co-leads a mixed-methods evaluation of permanent housing services for formerly incarcerated individuals in NYC, funded by the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice. In addition to her research, Dr. Goddard-Eckrich directs SIG’s MSW internship program and mentors emerging scholars. She has taught research methods at John Jay College and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles. Her work centers on improving health service delivery through adapted, community-driven interventions.
