WINGS Caribbean Grenada: (currently seeking funding) The WINGS-Caribbean Digital Safety Initiative adapts the evidence-based Women Initiating New Goals of Safety (WINGS) intervention to address gender-based violence in STEM higher education environments in Grenada, West Indies. Through collaborative workshops and participatory design, women and girls in STEM lead the development of a culturally appropriate digital safety platform that enables GBV surveillance, risk identification, safety planning, and linkage to services. Engaging participants including students, faculty, administrators, and community organizations, the initiative uses mixed-methods research to uncover structural barriers and co-develop actionable strategies for institutional change, producing evidence-based policy recommendations and a replicable model for GBV prevention across the Caribbean region.
